Serving youth throughout Central and Southern New Jersey, we are dedicated to providing character-building programs, outdoor adventures, and leadership opportunities that prepare young people for a lifetime of success.
Our mission is funded 100% locally. There are no local, state, or federal government funds earmarked to support our Council.
Furthermore, 100% of the annual membership registration fees paid by our Scouting families go directly to the National Council of Scouting America to cover national program development, literature, and technology services. Additionally, our Council receives no United Way Community Care allocations, relying instead strictly on donor-designated gifts.
Because of this, we rely entirely on the generosity of our Scouting families, alumni, local businesses, and Friends of Scouting to keep the promise of fun, adventure, and values-based education alive in central and southern New Jersey.
Active Campaigns & Giving Opportunities
Nature, shooting sports, Scoutcraft, waterfront fun, and more! The essential elements that make summer resident camp fun for Cub Scouts are founded in what makes Scouting great for our youth.
Friends of Scouting (FOS) Campaign
The Friends of Scouting campaign is our primary annual fundraising drive. Contributions to FOS directly fund the local council’s daily operations. This includes maintaining our outstanding camping properties, maintaining registration and training databases, and funding the professional field staff who support local volunteer leaders.
Give the Gift of Camp (Camperships)
Every youth deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of summer camp, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Our Campership Fund provides financial assistance so local Scouts can attend summer camp at one of our Council’s many camps.
Capital Projects & Property Upkeep
The camps and reservations of our Council are the crown jewels of our Scouting community. Donations designated for Capital Projects fund new program areas and provide vital maintenance for our camp structures and environments.
