Swimming Merit Badge Course
Build proper stroke mechanics, learn aquatic safety principles, and fulfill a key requirement for Eagle Scout. This hands-on course teaches Scouts fundamental water skills, stroke development, survival floating, and personal water safety.
Lifesaving Merit Badge Course
Take your water safety skills to the next level. The Lifesaving Merit Badge course prepares Scouts to respond effectively to water emergencies. Participants learn non-swimming rescues, swimming rescues, spinal injury management, and practical first aid techniques.
Prerequisite: Completion of the Swimming Merit Badge or passing the BSA Swimmer Test.
⏱️ Council Swim Tests & Classifications
Ensure your unit is ready for summer camp and water adventures! Our Council offers scheduled swim test opportunities so Scouts and adult leaders can complete their official BSA Swimmer, Beginner, or Non-Swimmer classifications prior to attending our Summer Camps.
