Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Across Central & Coastal New Jersey
Welcome to the official home of Scouting in Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, Middlesex, Burlington, and Cape May Counties.
Whether trekking through our historic pine barrens, conquering summer camp adventures, or serving local communities, our combined Scouting family provides youth with character-building programs, outdoor exploration, and lifelong leadership skills.
Who We Are
Together, Monmouth Council and Jersey Shore Council serve over 10,000 youth members supported by thousands of dedicated adult volunteers across Central and Coastal New Jersey.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
Through hands-on outdoor adventure, STEM exploration, civic engagement, and community service, we empower youth from kindergarten through age 20 to develop self-reliance, leadership, and a commitment to helping others.
Our Legacy & Region
Our councils represent a proud tradition of youth leadership spanning more than a century in the Garden State. By uniting our resources, camp facilities, and volunteer networks, we deliver unparalleled outdoor experiences and youth development across six New Jersey counties.

During this advanced stage of the evaluation process, Monmouth Council is providing information for both councils, where appropriate, throughout Monmouth Council website pending a final determination.
