Securing the Future of Local Scouting
“Scouting isn’t just an investment in a program; it’s an investment in the character, leadership, and resilience of tomorrow’s leaders.”
Building a Lasting Legacy for Youth in Our Community
For over a century, Scouting America has provided young people with life-changing outdoor adventures, character development, and leadership training.
While annual fundraising, popcorn sales, and camp fees keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly, the Council Endowment Fund serves as our perpetual financial bedrock. Managed by our dedicated Council Endowment Committee, this permanent fund ensures that future generations of youth will always have access to the promise of Scouting—regardless of economic shifts or unexpected challenges.
Why Give to the Endowment?
When you support our endowment, your gift is invested permanently. Only the interest and earnings generated from the principal are used to support local Scouting operations. This means your contribution keeps giving, year after year, in perpetuity.
Your Impact
Camp Operations & Preservation: Upkeep and expansion of our local camp facilities and outdoor adventure programs.
Youth Scholarships (Scourships): Ensuring that no child is denied the Scouting experience due to financial hardship.
Program Innovation: Expanding STEM initiatives, urban Scouting outreach, and new outdoor adventures.
Staffing & Support: Maintaining professional staff to recruit, train, and support thousands of adult volunteers.
