Cub Scout Activities (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
🍂 Cubtoberfest
Bring the whole family out to Quail Hill Scout Reservation for our premier fall festival! Cubtoberfest is a jam-packed day of outdoor games, seasonal activities, and a massive evening show. Choose to join us just for the daytime fun, or pitch a tent and stay for the full overnight experience.
⛺ Family Camp at Quail Hill
The perfect introduction to camping! Whether you are seasoned campers or sleeping under the stars for the very first time, this weekend event offers structured Cub Scout activities during the day and a relaxed family campout at night. Everyone is welcome—parents, siblings, and grandparents alike!
🏎️ Pinewood Derby Championship
Attention race fans! After weeks of shaping, sanding, and tuning, the best of the best face off at our annual council championship. District winners go head-to-head on the track to see who will take home the ultimate Monmouth Council bragging rights. Come for the speed, stay for the incredible creative designs!
🌲 Webelos Woods
Designed specifically for Bears and older Webelos, Webelos Woods gives younger scouts a hands-on preview of what lies ahead in Scouts BSA. It’s a weekend dedicated to reinforcing core Scouting values, learning advanced outdoor skills, and having serious fun alongside older troops.

Test your limits at the ultimate Scouting destination. Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico offers rugged, backcountry backpacking treks that challenge your physical endurance, build unbreakable team bonds, and teach life-long leadership skills in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
The National Jamboree
The National Jamboree isn’t just a trip—it’s a life-changing milestone. Held every few years, this massive gathering brings together tens of thousands of scouts from all over the world. It’s a high-energy hero’s journey where you will try extreme sports, meet lifelong friends, and push yourself further than you ever thought possible.
🌊 Scouting Good Turn: Clean Waterways
Scouting is all about leaving the world a little better than we found it. Join our council-wide conservation effort as we clean up local waterways, protect New Jersey’s native wildlife habitats, and practice the core principles of Leave No Trace.
