In partnership with Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 9, Brookdale Community College, and regional trade professionals, proudly presents our annual Skilled Trades Week!
This unique program offers Scouts hands-on exposure to high-demand careers in skilled trades, led by licensed professionals and master craftspeople in real union training facilities and technical centers.
This intensive day program bridges the gap between the classroom and the real world, allowing participants to explore a variety of medical specialties through interactive activities and exclusive facility site visits.

Dates: July 28–31, 2026.
- Transportation & Safety: Transportation will not be provided. Please take note to locations/hours for each day.
Program Fee: $300 per participant.
Availability: Space is strictly limited to ensure a high-quality, hands-on experience. This event sells out on an annual basis!

Master safety protocols, metal fabrication techniques, and hands-on arc/MIG welding.
🚗 Automotive Maintenance Merit Badge
Location: Brookdale Community College Automotive Center (Lincroft, NJ)
Explore vehicle systems, diagnostics, engine operation, tire maintenance, and fluid safety.
🚂 Railroad Merit Badge
Location: Quail Hill Scout Reservation (Manalapan, NJ)
Discover rail transportation history, signaling, safety standards, and model railroading principles.
