Empowering Scouting Through Technology, Innovation, and Digital Leadership

The Council Technology Committee is responsible for building, supporting, and modernizing the digital infrastructure that keeps our local Scouting community connected and operating smoothly. From web development and network infrastructure at camp properties to digital communication tools and database management, our team ensures leaders, parents, and youth have seamless access to Scouting resources.

Whether you are an IT professional, software developer, web designer, cybersecurity expert, or simply passionate about leveraging tech to streamline council operations, the Technology Committee offers a unique way to give back using your professional skills.

Purpose of the Council Technology Committee

  • Unit & Volunteer Tech Support: Providing guidance, best practices, and digital tools to help packs, troops, crews, and posts operate efficiently in a modern environment.

  • Cybersecurity & Data Privacy: Ensuring all digital platforms and youth management systems comply with modern cybersecurity standards and privacy guidelines to keep our members safe.
